And I am back.........with British Vogue, and Frida Kahlo

It has been 4 years since I last blogged. So much has changed in those 4 years. And the biggest is my mental health! I tried to make out I was over not being a Mother, but sadly it's not so. I have to know turn this pain into a passion somehow!!! I know it seems that everyone is talking mental health, and I for one, think it's such a good thing, for us to share. I will write a separate blog, but one of the effects was my huge anxiety around creating. It was really making me so anxious which was so hard for me because I used to really enjoy it. Yesterday, after having loads of 'me' time, and meditating I did a couple of scrapbook pages. I think why it was easier, is because I did my own thing mainly, and didn't use a lot of patterned paper, so I felt like I have much more control. And creating helps bring some kind of inner peace, so I will continue.

I used watercolours to create the background for this one. My fun day out at British Vogue

And this one, I painted onto watercolour paper, and then stamped the flowers, and cut them out. I wanted a drawn look, to represent Frida Kahlo's sketch book, and the black represents her strong eyebrows

Thank you for stopping by. Stay blessed x
